2. Data Collected

PronoStats does not require account creation, does not collect email addresses, does not use login systems, and does not perform profiling or marketing. The data collected is exclusively technical and analytical, as specified below.

2.1 Session Data

When you visit the site, a random Session ID is generated. This ID is not linked to any personally identifiable information. It is used solely to count unique visits and monitor active pages.

2.2 Page Views

For each page visited, we record: the page path (e.g., /predictions), the referrer (source page), the browser user agent, and the screen width. This data is used exclusively for aggregate statistical analysis of site traffic.

2.3 Geolocation from IP Address

The visitor's IP address is sent to the third-party service ip-api.com to obtain approximate geolocation information (country code and approximate geographic coordinates). The IP address is NOT stored in our database. Only the country code (e.g., "IT") and approximate coordinates (latitude/longitude) are saved.

2.4 Active Sessions

The system tracks the current page and last activity timestamp for each session. This data is automatically deleted after 30 minutes of inactivity.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of the data described above is based on the legitimate interest of the data controller (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) to understand the usage of the website through aggregate statistical analysis. No profiling, direct or indirect marketing, or data sharing with third parties for commercial purposes is performed.

4. Cookies and Local Storage Technologies

PronoStats uses only technical cookies and local storage technologies (localStorage/sessionStorage) for the operation of the site. The only external service used is ip-api.com, employed solely to convert the IP address into approximate geolocation information. 6. Data Retention

Page views (anonymous aggregate statistical data) are retained indefinitely for historical traffic analysis purposes. Active session data is automatically deleted after 30 minutes of inactivity. No personally identifiable data is retained.
